What does Time record?

Attendance and project time, separately. The gap between them stays visible. Corrections supersede an entry instead of overwriting it.

How it works

    How does approval work?

    Submitted, approved, then locked so it stops moving under a payroll run. Reopening leaves a record.

    How is absence handled?

    Holiday draws down an entitlement ledger. Sickness has no diagnosis field.

Limits

What it does not do

  • No shift planning or rota. No productivity scoring or ranking of people, by design.

  • Carry-over, expiry and submission reminders are not built yet. Weekly limits and rest periods are flagged, not enforced.

  • Where a works council exists, time recording is generally subject to co-determination under § 87 (1) no. 6 BetrVG. That assessment is the employer’s.

Questions

  • Yes, as an optional module. Enclessa Time records attendance with breaks, project time against customers and projects, timesheets that are submitted and approved, absence against an entitlement ledger and an overtime balance.

  • They can file a correction, which supersedes the original entry rather than replacing it, so both the original and the change remain visible. Once a period is approved and locked it stops moving until it is explicitly reopened.

  • Only if somebody types one in. Sickness has no diagnosis field, but an optional free-text note exists. Only the person it is about and people granted access to health data can read it.
