Enclessa Cards is the module that gives every employee a card derived from the employment in force on the date being asked about: a front they fill in themselves and can send to somebody who saves the contact without signing in to anything, and a back carrying their standing behind five visibility bands. Each card carries a per-organisation signature, so somebody at a reception desk can check that this person works here and in what position — and on the day the employment ends, the same check says so, without anybody having revoked anything.

Why derive it rather than issue it?

Because an issued card is a copy, and a copy has to be revoked when it stops being true. A derived card is resolved from the employment in force on the date the question is asked, so it expires by arithmetic rather than by somebody remembering. The verification page answers for the date it is read on: on the day an employment ends, the answer changes without an administrator doing anything.

Who sees what?

The back of a card sits behind five visibility bands, set per field by the organisation. A manager sees their report’s card and not their pay. Sharing outside the organisation is off until somebody turns it on, and turning it off again resolves no share link and answers no verification page while deleting nothing — so switching it back on restores the links people already sent.

What this does not do

  • Cards is off until an operator enables the module, and requires the People module.
  • Wallet passes, the email-signature generator and batch printing were deferred and are not available.
  • A card is not an access credential by itself. Entitlements are declared and exported; the system that opens the door is somebody else’s.

What is an Enclessa employee card?

What happens to a card when somebody leaves?

Nothing has to happen. The card is resolved from the employment in force on the date the question is asked, so on the day the employment ends the verification page says so — without anybody revoking anything.

Can a card be printed or saved as a contact?

Yes. A vCard, a QR code and a print-ready export all come from the same resolution as the on-screen card. Wallet passes and batch printing were deferred and are not available.
